Who will Protect Iraq? | New Eastern Outlook

02-02-20 09:09:00,

After Afghanistan, the Republic of Iraq became the second country in the Greater Middle East to suffer a US military invasion in recent years. Many years have since past, yet war rages on in this country, between the new government and various ethnic and extremist groups, and it has become a staging ground for American military operations in neighboring Syria. Apart from Syria, Iraq borders with Turkey and Iran, and the United States currently has rather tense relations with these countries, especially Turkey. The presence of a US military base on Iraqi territory is an important argument that Washington uses in negotiations with these countries. Iraq is strategically important for the United States in its plans to maintain and intensify the influence it has in the Middle East. Lately, however, this state has begun making fervent efforts to break free from American control.

After the United States invaded Iraq in 2003 and toppled Saddam Hussein’s regime, a new government was formed in the country. Unsurprisingly, this government formed under American occupation is largely comprised of individuals who have been loyal to the United States, or who at least consider America a key partner for their country. In 2011, an official flag ceremony took place to mark the beginning of the withdrawal of US troops from Iraq. However, the United States still has a military presence in the country to this day at a number of military bases used for conducting operations in the region. These operations have included fighting against groups of fighters from the illegal DAESH (Arabic-language acronym for ISIL) terrorist group, as well as shadier campaigns, such as supporting the Syria’s “moderate opposition” or the recent murder of Iranian major general Qasem Soleimani.

The American presence is a cause of discontent among incumbent Iraqi government officials and anti-government militia groups alike, as well as many ordinary Iraqi citizens. Different kinds of anti-American campaigns take place on a regular basis in Baghdad.

After 2011, the Iraqi government were given the opportunity to work more independently. Even though the United States remains an important partner for Iraq, including in the areas of defense and defense technology, Iraq has started developing relations with other potential partners. After 2011, a shift in Iraqi politics was already noticeable,

How To Protect Yourself From Microphone And Camera Hacking

18-09-19 07:41:00,

By Sara Tipton

Regardless of what type of computer or smartphone you use, there are obvious privacy concerns.  This day and age, it’s important to be aware of the fact that privacy isn’t what it used to be, but there are a few things we can do about.

Keeping yourself safe in the digital age and protecting against microphone and camera hacking has become a concern of many and with good reason! Digital privacy is a top fear of the American consumer. According to a nationally representative survey of more than 1,000 adults conducted by Consumer Reports in May, over 43% of American adults believe that their smartphone is recording them even when they have not asked it to. This fear is also compounded by the fact that, according to security experts, there is a real, (albeit remote) risk that hackers could take control of your devices’ cameras and microphones.

“These are the risks we accept with these smart devices,” says Patrick Jackson, chief technology officer at Disconnect, a cybersecurity firm that has partnered with Consumer Reports on investigations. “They have a lot of sensors, and you’re not always aware of whether they’re on or off.” However, Jackson says, there are a few easy steps you can take to protect yourself, no matter which brand of computer or smartphone you use.

Don’t Use “Dedicated” Video Or Audio Chat Apps

“Every time you install a new app on your device, you’re adding another back door into your system, with more potential software vulnerabilities that hackers can try to exploit,” says Cody Feng, project leader for security and privacy testing at Consumer Reports. “In digital security, we call this your ‘attack surface.’ Reducing that surface is always a good idea.” Most apps like Google Hangout, Skype, and Zoom give you the option to make and receive calls by logging in to their site on your web browser without downloading any special software. Using your browser instead of downloading an app is an easy way to stay a little safer.

The fewer apps on your screen, the better when it comes to safety and privacy. The more you have, the higher the chance one of those apps will be hacked and your private conversations listened to.

Intelligence act will protect CIA agents who ‘commit war crimes,’ whistleblower Kiriakou tells RT

23-07-19 05:45:00,

A new US bill would make it illegal to reveal the identity of a covert agent, even after their retirement or death, if it becomes law. Former CIA officer, and whistleblower, John Kiriakou told RT that it will protect wrongdoers.

The 2020 Intelligence Authorization bill passed the US House of Representatives last week, and will become law once agreed upon by the House and Senate. Aside from funding the US’ intelligence agencies for the forthcoming year, a provision in the act would dramatically expand a 1982 law that makes it a criminal offense to disclose the identities of covert officers.

Whereas the 1982 law protected agents who had served abroad in the preceding five years, the new provision would apply to anyone working in a classified position with the agencies, even after their retirement or death. The provision’s language was crafted by the CIA, who claim it necessary to protect agents from foreign adversaries.

Could John Bolton soon be SACKED? Will it avert Iran war? Former CIA agent Kiriakou positive on both

“The only reason the CIA wants this thing on the books is to protect those CIA officers who have committed war crimes or crimes against humanity,” Kiriakou told RT’s ‘Watching the Hawks.’ As the existing law was not used to prosecute the CIA leadership who leaked the identities of their officers before (like former director David Petraeus, who divulged classified information to his extramarital girlfriend), Kiriakou said that it will more likely be used to protect headquarters-based officials “who were instrumental in creating and implementing the torture program, the illegal rendition program, and the secret prison program, nothing more.”

The law, Kiriakou continued, would prevent congressional oversight of CIA figures like current director Gina Haspel, who prior to heading the agency worked undercover for three decades, running a secret prison abroad, and heading the CIA’s office at Guantanamo Bay.

“With this new law it would be illegal for us to even have this conversation. We wouldn’t even be able to talk about Gina Haspel,” he said.

EMF’s, 5G, and Chemtrails: How Do We Protect Ourselves? | Light On Conspiracies – Revealing the Agenda

26-06-19 09:29:00,

Are you feeling anxious for no reason?  Are you experiencing a “buzz” when you are holding on to your cell phone for a long period of time?  Are you noticing your loved ones are “slow” to respond or seem more in a fog than usual? Well, you may be feeling the EMF’s and radioactive Frequencies scrambling your DNA.

What Are EMF’s?

There are four types of EMF’s outside the earth’s natural radiation and light.  They are:

  • Wireless— This includes your cell phone, microwave, radio, television, baby monitors, bluetooth, WiFi — any thing that has wireless technology transmitted through the air.
  • Electric component from the wires in the home.
  • Magnetic component from the wires in your home.
  • Dirty Electricity— The power that the power company delivers to you is inefficient, and it comes with electrical magnetic interference called Voltage Transience.  It has been shown to affect blood sugar and cause cancer. People have seen their blood sugar drop by five points just by filtering it!

What Are EMF’s Doing To Us?

Everyone has their individual weaknesses in their physical body depending on their own chemistry, and some may be more sensitive to different types of EMF than another. But, in the end, they all have the same effect on the body.  Dr. Martin Paul discovered the Nitric Oxide Peroxinitrate Cycle, or what’s known as the NO/ONOO Cycle. The NO/ONOO cycle, stimulated by all types of EMF’s, is a vicious biochemical cycle that is thought to cause such diseases as chronic fatigue syndrome/myalgic encephalomyelitis (CFS/ME), multiple chemical sensitivity (MCS), fibromyalgia (FM), and possibly a large number of other chronic inflammatory diseases. Once this cycle starts it won’t stop.  This inflammatory cycle is also found in people with auto-immune diseases, autism, arthritis, and insulin resistance. The body is in a chronic stressed state once the cycle starts.

We Are Now Using 4G, On Our Way To 5G, But Let’s Just Look At The Effect Of The 3G Over The Last Few Years….

So far, 3G has caused:

  • A disruption of the autonomic nervous system, digestive system, vagus nerve, and  immune system.
  • A “downgrade” of our mental state, causing brain fog,
