Reports of ‘hundreds of thousands’ of civilians heading to Turkish border because of hostilities in Idlib not true – Russian MoD

reports-of-‘hundreds-of-thousands’-of-civilians-heading-to-turkish-border-because-of-hostilities-in-idlib-not-true-–-russian-mod

The Russian military has denied claims that scores of refugees are fleeing Syria’s Idlib province and moving towards the Turkish border due to battles between the Syrian Army and terrorists in the area.

“There are no verifiable photos and videos, or any other data to confirm the statements that ‘around a million’ refugees are supposedly moving from the Idlib de-escalation zone,” the head of Russia’s Reconciliation Center for Syria, Rear Admiral Oleg Zhuravlyov, said in a statement.

The information alleging that ‘hundreds of thousands’ of civilians are heading for the Syrian-Turkish border because of battles between terrorists and Syrian government troops in the east of the province [Idlib] is not true.

The official added that terrorists are using civilians as human shields, preventing them from leaving the combat zone through the three humanitarian corridors set up by the Reconciliation Center in the Idlib, Aleppo, and Hama provinces.

The situation in Idlib flared up in recent weeks, with the Syrian Army making advances against terrorists and militants, some of which are backed by Turkey. The anti-government forces launched a counteroffensive on Thursday, which was beaten back with the help of Russian airstrikes.

Damascus says its troops are conducting operations against terrorists that carry out attacks on Syrian personnel and civilians. Ankara, which backs some of the militants in Idlib, said that a Turkish invasion of the area is “imminent” and accused the Syrian Army of shelling its troops.

Russia insisted that a shelling incident in Syria, in which Ankara claims several of its soldiers were killed, was due to the failure of the Turkish side to warn of troop movements. Moscow also accused Turkey of failing on its promise to clear the ‘de-escalation zone’ of jihadist groups.

Eric Zuesse Reports That the Russiagate Investigation Now Endangers Obama – PaulCraigRoberts.org

Eric Zuesse Reports That the Russiagate Investigation Now Endangers Obama

Former U.S. President Barack Obama is now in severe legal jeopardy, because the Russiagate investigation has turned 180 degrees; and he, instead of the current President, Donald Trump, is in its cross-hairs.

The biggest crime that a U.S. President can commit is to try to defeat American democracy (the Constitutional functioning of the U.S. Government) itself, either by working with foreign powers to take it over, or else by working internally within America to sabotage democracy for his or her own personal reasons. Either way, it’s treason (crime that is intended to, and does, endanger the continued functioning of the Constitution itself*), and Mr. Obama is now being actively investigated, as possibly having done this. The Russiagate investigation, which had formerly focused against the current U.S. President, has reversed direction and now targets the prior President. Although he, of course, cannot be removed from office (since he is no longer in office), he is liable under criminal laws, the same as any other American would be, if he committed any crime while he was in office.

A December 17th order by the FISA (Foreign Intelligence Surveillance Act) Court severely condemned the performance by the FBI under Obama, for having obtained, on 19 October 2016 (even prior to the U.S. Presidential election), from that Court, under false pretenses, an authorization for the FBI to commence investigating Donald Trump’s Presidential campaign, as being possibly in collusion with Russia’s Government. The Court’s ruling said:

In order to appreciate the seriousness of that misconduct and its implications, it is useful to understand certain procedural and substantive requirements that apply to the government’s conduct of electronic surveillance for foreign intelligence purposes. Title I of the Foreign Intelligence Surveillance Act (FISA ), codified as amended at 50 U.S.C. 1801-1813, governs such electronic surveillance. It requires the government to apply for and receive an order from the FISC approving a proposed electronic surveillance. When deciding whether to grant such an application, a FISC judge must determine among other things, whether it provides probable cause to believe that the proposed surveillance target is a “foreign power” or an agent a foreign power. …

The government has a heightened duty of candor to the FISC in ex parte proceedings,

Forbes Reports How AI in Driverless Cars May Shape Where You Go Whether You Like It Or Not – Activist Post

According to one study, 82% of Americans think Artificial Intelligence (AI) is going to be more harmful than helpful to humanity.

Even tech inventor and proponent, Elon Musk, has expressed concerns.

Wow and scary!

AI gets a bad rap for many good reasons (see 1, 2).  So do driverless cars and also for many good reasons (see 1, 2, 3, 4, 5, 6 7).  A recent Forbes article provides additional disturbing details about AI in driverless cars.  If you don’t have time to read the whole thing – the conclusion pretty much says it all:

Many assume that driverless cars will be a neutral form of transport and merely take people from point A to point B.

That’s a naive perspective.

Sure, right now, the focus is entirely on being able to get a self-driving car to properly navigate the roads and be safe in doing so. Once we get past the initial aspects of having driverless cars that work appropriately, there is no question that the driving efforts will further be monetized.

Fleet owners of self-driving cars are going to seek ways to wring more dollars out of their expensive driverless cars. There are in-car advertising possibilities, along with the driverless car acting as a roving billboard.

Another facet of making money would be to allow for the digital nudging of passengers, getting those riders to be mind-tricked into going to where there’s more money to be made by the owner.

Don’t assume that I am saying that this kind of driverless car induced greed is inherently bad or wrong since it could be that the outcome is better for the rider too.

My point is that we need to be awakened to the notion that where a self-driving car will take you is not a foregone conclusion and we’ll all need to be on our toes about going along for a ride.

CBS “60 Minutes” Reports U.S. Embassy Employees’ Brain Trauma Likely From RF Weapons

How Any RF Exposure (Cell Phones, WiFi, etc.) Can Cause the Same Results

Some call it RadioFrequency (RF) Radiation.  Some call it Microwave Frequency or Microwave Radiation.  Some call it Non-Ionizing Radiation.  Some call it Cell Phone Radiation or Wireless Radiation or WiFi.  No matter what it’s called, decades of research has already determined that exposure to all sources of it is harmful in more ways than increased cancer risk (see 1, 2, 3).

Thanks to CBS “60 Minutes” for reporting about symptoms and injuries suffered by American diplomats, their families, and their pets and how microwave weapons have been suspected if not confirmed.  Unfortunately, any RF exposure can cause symptoms and brain trauma like what they described, so being targeted is not required.  Exposure can cause “Microwave Sickness,” a medically recognized illness that includes a variety of unpleasant and disabling symptoms including what these victims described (see 1, 2, 3).  It can also disrupt the blood-brain barrier which can cause it to leak and even kill brain cells (see 1, 2, 3).  That sounds a lot like brain trauma, doesn’t it?

From CBS “60 Minutes”:

Since 2016, dozens of American officials have come home from Cuba and China with unexplained brain trauma. Evidence shows it may be the work of another government using a weapon that leaves no trace

Catherine Werner: I woke up in the middle of the night. I could feel this sound in my head. Um, it was intense pressure on both of my temples. At the same time, I heard this low humming sound, and it was oscillating. And I remember looking around for where this sound was coming from, because it was painful.

Scott Pelley: When did you first notice that you weren’t feeling well?

Catherine Werner: October of 2017, I started to get hives all over my body. Really bad hives. I woke up with headaches every day.

TIME Magazine Reports How 5G Will Increase Our Already High Levels of E-Waste and Why This Isn’t Green

time-magazine-reports-how-5g-will-increase-our-already-high-levels-of-e-waste-and-why-this-isn’t-green

By B.N. Frank

Activist Post has reported before about how digital, electronic, and wireless technology has created an already huge and increasing environmental E-Waste problem due to short life-spans and planned obsolesce.  Unfortunately, some self-proclaimed environmentalists continue to turn a blind eye to this (see 1, 2, 3) and still promote problematic technology as “green” despite E-Waste and other ways it is harmful biologically and environmentally (see 1, 2, 3, 4, 5, 6).

A recent article from Time Magazine confirms the seriousness of E-Waste worldwide and emphasizes how 5G will make this MUCH WORSE:

“That stream (of E-Waste) is expected to turn into a torrent as the world upgrades to 5G, the next big step in wireless technology.”

“…50 million tons of e-waste generated globally last year–a number that stands to skyrocket as consumers replace their old devices with the newest 5G-ready gadgets money can buy.”

“But less than a quarter of all U.S. electronic waste is recycled….The rest is incinerated or ends up in landfills. That’s bad news, as e-waste can contain harmful materials like mercury and beryllium that pose environmental risks.”

“…technology companies are speeding the pace of obsolescence….”

“Our products today don’t last as long as they used to, and it’s a strategy by manufacturers to force us into shorter and shorter upgrade cycles…”

Activist Post has reported on the many ways that 5G is awful as well as its increasing worldwide opposition.
